John Patrick Wells is a Brooklyn, NY based multidisciplinary artist originally from Bakersfield, California.  His work in video and film has been seen on BBC, Fuse, MTV, BET, and the Sundance Film channel.  John has proven himself to be well versed in many different forms of art making.  He uses "the idea" as the jumping of point for his work, rather than forcing each visual concept onto a canvas or into a video.  His work crosses many different ideological lines, from religion to gender roles to personal introspection.  His directorial music video debut for the band Emily Danger has been likened to "experiencing Stockholm Syndrome" and "one of the most dramatic and striking visual performances we've ever come across."
